One Month Old Already!

Time flies when your having fun (or running on little sleep!)  Yes the days are blurring into the nights, the ten minutes of quiet to have a shower are luxury, and we never know what day it is never mind the date, but it's completely worth it and wouldn't trade it for the world! Although we'd laugh when other parents we know would say that their child has changed so much, we now understand!  Hailey is changing so much all the time and it's hard to believe she turned 1 month old yesterday!  Sarah continues to impress me as a mother and I'm so proud of her and how God is  working in her life. I know she is going to be the godly mother to Hailey that she so desperately desires.  I'm blessed!

Help wanted and welcome!

We were so blessed to have the help and support of both sets of parents the first three/four weeks of our adventure with Hailey.  We are so grateful and know that we were truly spoiled for  having such help! For Nana & Papa Ogden, it is their first grandchild and it was written all over their faces every time she made a noise.  For Nana & Papa McLaughlin, it is their second granddaughter but you can tell they are just as smitten with Hailey as they were with beautiful Tasia!  It is truly amazing to watch our parents interact with our own child!

Welcome Hailey Jane!

Here's our girl!

LIfe has changed (for the better!)

Our world changed forever on April 30th, 2009.  Sarah gave birth to a beautiful little girl that we named Hailey Jane Ogden.  We loved the name Hailey and as soon as we saw her, we knew that it was a great choice!  Jane is a middle name that has been passed down on Sarah's side of the family, and Ogden, well she's ours and so "Ogden" goes on the end.

Sarah was due on April 26th, and it's amazing how once that day came and went, the more impatient we became in anticipating the arrival of our child.  Sarah was induced on Wednesday night, and after a long day/night she gave birth to her on Thursday, April 30th at 8:45 p.m.  Hailey was 8lbs 9ozs and 20.5 inches long and had a full head of hair! Sarah's doctor and nurses were all amazing and we're so thankful for the care that our family received.

Welcome to our page and i hope you'll continue to keep updated with our family as we enter this new stage in our journey!
